Potential buyers experiencing Big Plans

Creating comfort for off the plan purchasers

Written by Lucent

Buying an apartment off the plan presents many challenges for potential buyers, not least of which is the expectation to be able to conceptualise and translate a space into 3D from a 2D representation.

As developers and project marketers we have historically utilised artists impressions, renders and display suites to try and best represent a project in detail. What we tend to find is that this is still insufficient to give accurate dimensional information, particularly for every layout or apartment type within a project.

In order to alleviate the concerns of potential buyers at Slate House, the team from Project by Buxton invited interested purchasers to Big Plans to give them a more immersive experience and deeper understanding of the spatial layouts and true extent of the large apartments the project features.

Occupying a large warehouse space in North Melbourne, Big Plans enables the projection of plans onto the floor space, so purchasers can experience spatial layouts at a one to one scale.

The true experience of individual spaces is enhanced by a collection of moveable furniture. Large items such as sofas beds and dining settings demonstrate how spaces can be furnished and navigated. This also offers the dual benefit to purchasers of being able to envisage how their own furniture can be accommodated in an apartment layout.

Our Slate House prospective purchasers who made the trip to Big Plans walked away with a greater feeling of comfort and reassurance and delight at the generous and well thought through interiors.
